1. Assisting in the Creation of Jobs / Ranks and assigning valid grades to the IPPD system by the end of the ensuing month's payroll cycle after receiving the letter
2. Assisting in the implementation of the salary structure of covered entities on the IPPD by the end of the ensuing month's payroll cycle after receiving the letter
3. Assisting in the Processing of Payroll Dummy Runs for all affected payrolls as per the monthly payroll timetable

1. Supervising the day-to-day administration of the Accounts Section of Ghana Book Development Council
2. Providing advice on accounting matters to the Executive Director of GBDC
3. Making input into the preparation and review of the budget of GBDC
4. Maintaining proper books of accounts and records on the Internally Generated Funds of the Council through GIFMIS Platform.
5. Preparing of monthly and annual financial reports
6. Ensuring that accounting transactions are properly captured in appropriate ledgers using the GIFMIS systems
7. Directing and coordinating the activities of accounting officers at the Council

Ensuring procurement is compliant with Act 663 as amended and Regulations Reviewing and approving procurement plans Confirming costs and matching with available funds Facilitating contract administration and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements Assisting Head of Entity in disposal of stores, vehicles and equipment Approving invitation documents – tenders, RFQs, RFPs and pre-qualification Reviewing of procurement schedules and specifications and terms of references Reviewing evaluation reports and award contracts up to their threshold Approving contract amendments
